Last week one of my subscribers asked for some free social media sharing plugins for WordPress. Now, while that’s a great suggestion, and I will recommend some plugins later on, this question really got me thinking.
How can we take it further? How much traffic could you get? What happens if we dial it up a notch. How about if we turn it all the way up to 11? How much traffic could you get on autopilot then?
So I will give the strategy with you, then I’ll show you how to deploy it, step by step. And then finally I’ll share some additional tools you might find useful.
Now, I’ve said it before – on a personal level, I’m not really the biggest fan of social media.
So far as I’m concerned, it’s only good for one thing; and that’s driving traffic.
And if we can automate that process to spend less time on social media, then I’m all for it.
But automation only works when you have the right strategy.
Thankfully, the strategy is pretty simple and most of the hard work has already been done for you.
I’ll show you how.
Now before I walk you through this step by step, at its core, this strategy is all about becoming part of a community. Listening to that community, understanding their pain points and delivering the value they need.
So understanding ‘market sentiment’ is important.
Then we can borrow credibility from influencers by sharing the content that resonates.
And finally we grow an audience and drive traffic by having the right schedule and being strategic with hashtag selection.
Now social media automation is dominated by two services; Hootsuite and Buffer. And they are both great options, but I’ve discovered something that’s even better – and it pretty much does everything for you.
