IS A VOICEOVER PROJECT TOO EXPENSIVE?
In most cases you’re going to have a budget to work with–corporate to small business, and even personal budgets. Budgets and negotiation are often part of the business world. The rates I provide are general rates and provide a guideline as to what your voice over will cost. If you have a budget for your project that doesn’t seem to line up with the rates quoted, please don’t just move on to another voice talent for your voice over work. I am more than happy to discuss your needs and your budget, and work with you to create a situation were we can work together. SCRIPT PREPARATION
Scripts come in all lengths. Some need to be an exact read to the minute or second, and some have no limits. If you need your script to be a certain length, here are some general guidelines to go by. The general rule for a 30 second read, is 75 words. For a 60 second read it is 150 to 160 words. At that word count you will get a natural read flow, not too fast, and not to slow. Be realistic about content and timing. If you use phone numbers, keep in mind that every number is a word also.
DELIVERY OF YOUR PROJECT
Once the project is finished in MP3, or WAV, or other audio file format, or if it is a video project, HD 720p, or 1080p file, the project file can be delivered by cloud download, email, thumb drive.
